Allison, one of our Haiti Diaper Drop Liasions, writes about Bedine & Charlens. We recently provided 20 diaper kits to Allison to distribute.

“Young, single Mom Bedine struggles to make it with her 2 1/2 month old baby boy, Charlens. She loves him and is doing a great job with him, living on her own. The adoring way he looks at his momma tells that he is bonded and content.

What a gift it was for Bedine to receive a Diaper Kit. She can now take him out to visit or to the hospital for his check-ups with more confidence knowing that his bottom (and her clothes) will be dry and clean. A disposable diaper is completely unaffordable for the poor in Haiti.

Momma was equally as excited about the beautiful bag the diapers came in. She plans to hang it up in her tiny one room apartment and store all of Charlens’ clothes in it.
