Hope in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria

Dear Friends,

It is an amazing thing that has happened in the past week. So far, more than 110 people have joined together to help our friends in need in Puerto Rico.

Alysha, our Diaper Drop liasion in Puerto Rico, writes of the devastation, as seen from her home in Rio Grande. “Here all the streets around me are flooded. All the posts are down, billboards, and roofs. It is terrible.”

While destruction may be massive, there is hope. It is a small flicker of light growing into a flame of support. Our goal is to help more than 200 families, with diapers. We’re providing cloth diaper kits, with all the supplies need to diaper a baby from birth to potty training, for Alysha to distribute, through our amazing partner agency The Rebecca Foundation.

75 kits have already started their journey to Puerto Rico, and they will soon be followed by many more.

No one has ever made it through life without someone else’s help.

Johnson & Johnson is helping, with dollar for dollar matching.

I am in awe, and so thankful, for each and every one of you as we join together to help Alysha & Puerto Rico in their time of need.

Thank you for the hope and light you bring. I encourage you to reach me at [email protected]. I’d love to hear from you.
