As the gap between Mother’s and Father’s days come to a close, so does our Great Cover Up Drive to benefit our Eastern Wisconsin Diaper Bank program and help families in Brown and Winnebago counties.
The success of our campaign reach is widely dependent on a number of vital business partners in the community. One of those is U.S. Venture, a company with “a deep passion to help vulnerable families and individuals,” as Dawn Ruchala of U.S. Venture said.
“We know those families struggling to meet their basic needs, which diapers should be included, do not receive supplemental support to be able to properly diaper their children,” she said. “We believe it is an important safety and health need and also is important from a dignity perspective.”
Like many of our business partners, U.S. Venture, the U.S. Venture Open and the U.S. Venture/Schmidt Family Foundation are committed to making a difference in our community.
“We have invested in finding a better way to do business since our first heating oil truck took to the road in 1951, and one thing has remained constant: we work hard to deliver our customers unparalleled service and make the world a little bit better every day,” Dawn said.
Thank you so much to U.S. Venture and the dozens of other organizations who’ve collaborated with us on this drive. You can still make an impact by visiting one of these locations to drop off your donation – check out the map here.
Make your impact before our drive is over! Every single dollar donated gives 7 diapers to a child in need in NE Wisconsin. Donate here and your gift will be doubled through the Caring Crowd matching program.(every $1= 7 diapers!!)
