ImageHope For Chrislene

Chrislene was referred to Real Hope for Haiti’s inpatient malnutrition center when she was 20 months old. Weighing a mere 15 pounds, she was so weak that she couldn’t hold her head up. She started on medications and an IV. Once she began to feel better, she began to eat and drink normally. Today, she is running all over the center happy and content. Real Hope for Haiti relies on donations from Jake’s Diapers to support orphans like Chrislene. Learn more>>

Why Hygiene Products are as Essential as Food and Water

Many people think of basic needs as food, shelter, and water. The truth is, hygiene products are just as essential on this list, and that includes items like period products. And as we’ve piloted some period product programs with Diaper Drop partners in 2018, we’ve learned a bit about the inadequacies that exist with women’s struggle to access period products.

Until the tax is removed in more states and more programs offer free or affordable access to women in poverty, we are working to provide dignity for girls and women through equality and access to period products. Learn more about the pilot program>>

#GivingTuesday is Right Around the Corner

In 2017, the global giving movement known as #GivingTuesday raised more than $300M online. The average gift given was $120.40. That’s a lot of little steps combining efforts to making a big difference.

At Jake’s Diapers, we believe every small step makes a big difference in ending poverty. Please consider joining the 2018 #GivingTuesday movement to support Jake’s in empowering people to live clean, healthy and prosperous lives. Give on Tuesday, November 27th>>

Thankful For Our Volunteers

Our volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization. Take Holly for example. Holly volunteers at Jake’s Diapers along with her three daughters. Holly admits that she loves the cause and is especially excited to support Jake’s Diapers while instilling a sense of generosity in her own children.

“They are always so welcoming at Jake’s and find something for all of us to do, even the littles,” Holly said. “It makes me proud as their mother to see them enjoying their time helping other families in need.”

From sewing parties to fundraising ideas to diaper drives… we love to work with our volunteers customize creative ways for any group to help. Visit our website to learn more. Visit us>>
