Thanks to you, many women in Puerto Rico no longer face period poverty. Access to essential period products isn’t always easy when you’re living in poverty. This means makeshift solutions involving substitutes like toilet paper,  socks, paper bags, or whatever one can find because periods just don’t wait.

Through your generous support, here at Jake’s Diapers, we’ve been able to supply many women with a kit of reusable cloth pads and/or cups. With an ample supply of period product, the women we’ve been blessed to serve don’t have to miss work or school due to lack of access to period supplies. Menstruation matters, and we’re working to create a world where every woman and girl can manage her menstruation in a hygenic way, wherever she is, in privacy, safety, and with dignity.
