Update: Mexico City Earthquake: Helping Children Survivors

It’s an exciting time here at Jake’s Diapers! We’re excited to share with you our relief work for persons impacted by the Mexico Earthquake is growing.

We have partnered with a network of missionaries and churches in Mexico City and beyond to help Mexico City, Morelos and Puebla residents who suffered devastation from a 7.1M earthquake over six months ago. Hundreds were killed and unfortunately, families who were already living in poverty, now amplified by the disaster, are still in dire need of basic living supplies.

After the earthquake, there was an immediate need for relief. Now, because months have passed, many disaster relief agencies have left and we rarely hear about the earthquake in today’s news. Our help is needed more than ever for long-term relief and recovery.

Thanks to your generous donations, more than 200 families will receive a complete supply of cloth diapers to last a baby from birth to potty training! Let’s keep it going and show Mexico that we haven’t forgotten about their children. We look forward to sharing more updates.

Feel free to reach out with any questions you have.
